The light was stunning as I stopped to look back at the view from Little Staple Tor. After a day on my feet taking photos and walking over 10 miles the walk to the top to photograph Great Staple Tor was hard; but every time I stopped to rest I would see the view around me. The potential for a fantastic end to the day which spurred me on as I rushed to get there in time.
I took this photo of some of the rocks on Little Staple Tor as I liked the way they were side lit by the low sun creating slivers of amazing colour contrasting against deep shadows. I love how you can see the expanse the hills and tors and the moor beyond.
