Wind turbines have been a one of the driving forces in renewable energy. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with them. At times they can look majestic, with their almost hypnotic motion. Other times they are a bit of an eyesore blotted on many a horizon. It is surprising just how loud they are when you are near to them. Once the world is a greener place, will they be seen as a menace?
