In this Instow photo a solitary man walks along the beach after the sun has set behind Appledore. I quite like this photo as I feel the man walking gives a real sense of scale and space. Instow is really deceptive as when the tide is in it looks quite small, but when the tide is low the beach is vast. I could have made the photo much brighter but I felt that it would take away some of the mood, and the light was genuinely low as the sun was fading.
