This is one of the first photos that I took on my last trip to Foggintor Quarry on Dartmoor. I like the way the wall of the old building on the right captures the subtle morning light. At this point I thought the day was going to be really good photographically despite missing the best part of the sunrise but it just wasn’t to be; this was the leading edge of the cloud that would blight my morning.
I have had this photo sat in my possible blog posts folder since that Dartmoor trip and thought that I would post it because I didn’t get out this weekend and wanted to post something other than a seascape. Hopefully the weather is favourable at the weekend.
