I really like this photo of a working boat heading out to sea from Brixham harbour in South Devon. I took this photo from the breakwater at Brixham harbour early in the morning; It suits black and white. You can see a larger version of this photo in the Black and white gallery.
Watching the boats head out
I think boats invoke a certain amount of emotion; especially for me having worked on boats a long, long time ago. I used to love watching boats heading out from the safety of the harbours in Plymouth where I was born, while imagining what adventures they would be having.
