Here is another photo of Great Staple Tor on Dartmoor. Getting that ideal photo of the Tor is proving illusive, but that is the same for most landscape photographers I’m sure and part of the fun! I took this photo on my weekend jaunt. I chose to stand beside the rocks to the right to try to emphasise scale and use them to balance the image. Lots of people tend to shoot from the top of the rocks, which I feel takes some of the scale away from the rocks as they dominate the horizon when you stand there in person.
