On a hazy summer’s morning at Beer beach in South Devon these fishing boats rested on the shingle bank creating a wonderful postcard scene. The beach at Beer is incredibly picturesque, especially on a calm morning such as this one. I like the boldness of this image and think it works with the simple composition. It is definitely reminiscent of how I felt under the glare of the early morning sun. However, I definitely want to revisit there soon when there is softer light.
