As I drove home from work I saw the potential for an amazing sunset in the sky, with the clouds already showing hints of colour. I rushed home, collected my youngest son and headed to Instow Beach. Due to traffic delays by the time we got there the sun had already disappeared behind the Appledore horizon, but there was still some nice colour in the sky.
I like this photo of Instow at dusk because of the slightly diffused motion of the subtle waves and Appledore lights are complimented by the evening sky; giving an overall quite peaceful scene to digest. After spending so much time at Dartmoor with my camera in recent outings it was nice to shoot a coastal scene. I may photograph Instow quite a lot but it rarely fails to deliver something new each time.
