As sunrise approached North Cornwall, the sky over Bude Bay from Crooklets Beach was filled with a wonderful range of pastel colours. There is something magical about standing on an empty beach with the surf rolling in, while witnessing a beautiful moment that no other eyes will witness first-hand.
With only my Canon G7X to hand, I tried to capture the scene that was unfolding before me. I like this photo, especially the subtle tones combined with the energy of the sea. I have other seascape compositions that are more balanced but like the wave in this image.
