I like the tranquil scene of boats on the River Torridge looking towards Bideford around sunset. This image was taken from the small harbour wall at Instow. I have taken a similar photo multiple times from here and this one finally had the right blend of depth, atmosphere and subtle colours. On the other side of the river is Appledore shipyard. I love how the Bideford new bridge is only just visible through the evening haze.
