Wherever I am taking photographs I often stay out way into the blue hours. This means that I am often making my way back to my car in darkness. Often, I don’t put my camera back in its bag right away because sometimes you see something from a different perspective. These beach huts at Westward Ho! in North Devon are a fine example.
I have walked past these huts on many occasions. But the blue evening sky and the streetlights illuminating them on this occasion caught my eye enough to look for a composition. I think they still look pretty but give off a different mood in this setting.
