Walking through woodland is something that I enjoy. One of the things I like is how sometimes the slivers of light that break through the canopy highlight something on the forest floor, making it much more vivid. In this case it is Rabelera holostea (greater stitchwort). I love the contrast blend of green and white, and the combination of light and dark.
A Narrow Depth of Field
As post processing trends evolve, it has become much more normal to focus stack. For scientific images and documenting something this can be helpful. It is important to remember though, that this is always not needed in creative works. In fact, having depth of field can help to let the eye roam around an image.
